Our Approach
We very much have a student-led ethos at Russell Actors, creating a hub where young creative people can come together and hone their craft in a really safe and welcoming space, led by passionate and highly experienced creatives. Becoming a Russell Actor means that you have a network for life - whether you are a student with us for one year or for ten. The structure of each year will always cover: improvisation (and how we can use it in everything from comedy to tragedy, theatre to film);
theatre-creation (exploring a range of genres, styles and themes), and bespoke workshops that cover everything from character development, script work and physical theatre, to voice work, verbatim, screen acting and audition technique- to name a few.
